New Decorative Accents by KraftMaid Cabinetry Offer Designers and Homeowners Unique Choices for Projects
Ann Arbor, MI (February 4, 2014) – If there is one universal truth to kitchen and bath design, it is that the devil is in the details. KraftMaid Cabinetry, one of the country’s most respected cabinetry brands, shares this philosophy. That’s why they are again expanding their already extensive lineup of decorative accents with new hardware, Vetro Door finishes, and glass inserts.
The new hardware lineup offers designers and homeowners unique styles and finishes to complement KraftMaid® cabinetry designs. Each is available in knobs and pulls, which enable designers to use both shapes to add interest to cabinetry, create focal points and define work spaces while keeping the same hardware finish to give the space a cohesive look.
The Jericho Collection features a combination of chrome and matte black finishes, including a 4-inch pull offered in a two-toned option. Also available in knobs, this hardware collection works well in transitional designs while making a statement in any space. The Tide Bar Pull features a tailored design appropriate for many design styles, but with a modern flair thanks to the two-texture combination of satin and polished chrome. It is available in 4-, 8-, 12- and 18-inch sizes. Finally, the Mod Collection features a knob and 4-, 8-, 12- and 18-inch pulls in a brushed bronze finish. The pull ends sit snug against the cabinet, preventing it from snagging on clothing.
Both Tide Bar and Mod Collection hardware pair beautifully with the new Champagne Bronze Vetro Door. A unique product in the industry, the Champagne Bronze Vetro Door boasts a subtle finish that provides a new twist on the emerging trend of using gold accents in the kitchen. As bronze faucets and hardware gain popularity in the kitchen, pairing them with this Vetro Door’s Champagne Bronze finish will give any kitchen an on-trend but subtle metallic glow.
“While it is important to consider how each component in your space design works alone and with other elements, we want to provide designers and homeowners with accent pieces that complement each other,” says Karen Brawn, director of marketing for KraftMaid Cabinetry. “By creating the distinctive Champagne Bronze Vetro Door, we’ve created numerous design opportunities with not only our new Mod Collection and Tide Bar Pulls but also countless other pieces from our robust hardware lineup. Versatility is very important.”
Another way to add an understated elegance to cabinetry is through glass inserts. KraftMaid Cabinetry recently added a Wave Glass Insert option to doors that features subtle horizontal lines to add texture to any kitchen. Antique Mirage Glass Inserts with Mullions, also new to KraftMaid® cabinetry, capture the look of vintage mercury glass and add a very popular furniture look that is perfect for an open kitchen or kitchen and family room setting.
“Glass is often overlooked as a decorative piece,” Brawn says. “But glass with texture and personality, like subtle lines or antiquing, used with the right materials, can make a stunning addition to a kitchen design. We’ve seen designers do this many times; that’s why we added these two newest inserts to our product offering,” she adds.
