Green Builder® 2011 Readers’ Choice Brand Study Names KraftMaid® and Merillat® the Greenest Cabinetry Companies Based on Reader Survey Results

ANN ARBOR, Mich., (February 2, 2012)— Green Builder ® magazine, one of the building industry’s leading magazines focused on green building and sustainable development, recently announced the winners of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards. The results are in and KraftMaid has won the award for the greenest cabinet brand, with Merillat coming in as runner-up. Masco Cabinetry, home of these two brands, was the only company whose brands came in first and second, across all categories.
Every year, Green Builder asks readers to select the manufacturers and brands that are delivering products that help design, build and remodel more sustainable homes. The results, which will appear in the January issue of Green Builder magazine, reflect the favorites of industry professionals.
