KraftMaid 2011: New Hardware Styles

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - KraftMaid brings a unique quality and character to cabinet hardware through its introduction of 12 new hardware styles for the kitchen and bathroom.
“These new hardware offerings help homeowners put the finishing touches on cabinetry and customized furniture,” says Sarah Reep, director of designer relations and education at KraftMaid. “There are 100 trend-forward designs within the collections making it easy to find the perfect fit for in any room.”
The new hardware designs and finishes provide countless options when paired with KraftMaid cabinets, doors and paints, allowing homeowners to truly define their style. The new collections fall into three categories: Traditional Appeal, Modern Twist and Clean Contemporary lines.
Traditional Appeal, which includes the Heritage, Century, French Farm, Pearl Beaded and Heirloomcollections, bring an heirloom feel, evoking traditional appeal through their design. For example, the jewelry-like accents of the Pearl Beaded collection create the perfect accent to furniture-styled pieces, especially in the bath.
Modern Twist houses the Crescent, Simplicity, Baluster and Empire collections to balance traditional styles with modern twists. They’re at home in every room. For example, the softly curved details of the Empire Collection offer a touch of glamour, perfect for transitional room designs.
Finally, the Organic, Modern and Sail collections each use clean and confident lines to create the Clean Contemporary line. The simple, natural forms of the Organic collection feel at home in KraftMaid’s Modern Farmhouse and Soft Modern design styles. Their unique design also allows for pieces from the Organic collection to be applied vertically, horizontally or even inverted, making the design not only modern but also modular.
