KRAFTMAID CONTINUES PARTNERSHIP THAT CHANGES LIVES

Posted by KraftMaid on Apr 12th 2016

(MIDDLEFIELD) KraftMaid will once again be part of helping families around the country rebuild their homes and lives as they join forces with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for the program’s seventh season. Since 2003 when Extreme Makeover: Home Edition premiered on the ABC Television Network, KraftMaid Cabinetry has participated in more than 160 builds across the country, supplying several million dollars worth of cabinetry and design services to the deserving families selected by the award-winning reality show’s producers. KraftMaid is the exclusive cabinetry partner for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Season seven continues the program’s goal to build homes and change a family’s life in every state in the nation. As in all Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, homes, KraftMaid partners with the show’s design and production crews and designs each and every space to suit each family’s needs, tastes and lifestyle, not just for the kitchen but also for bathrooms, laundry rooms, home offices or wherever needs dictate. To facilitate the incredibly fast turnaround needed for these projects, KraftMaid has an on-staff designer specifically dedicated to the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition program.

“This is a show that aims not just to rebuild a home and give a deserving family a fresh start, but a show that brings an entire community together when Ty knocks on a family’s door. Having been on several other Extreme Makeover: Home Edition shoots, it’s amazing to see entire communities come together to help a neighbor. The spirit of volunteerism and helping your neighbor stays long after the production crew leaves,” says Kim Craig, director of communications and media for KraftMaid.

“Working with this program has been genuinely meaningful – and a great thrill – for all of us. We all feel very fortunate to truly make a difference in the lives of these families,” Craig says. While the average KraftMaid donation is substantial, Craig says, the impact is much greater. “Our shared goal is to renew each family’s hope and help restore their lives,” Craig says.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. David Goldberg is the president of Endemol USA. The series is executive-produced by Tom Forman. The show airs Sundays (8-9 p.m. EDT) on the ABC Television Network.

According to the J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Cabinet Satisfaction StudySM KraftMaid Cabinetry ranked “Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Cabinets.” The study looked at ordering and delivery; price; operational performance; design features; and warranty.
