ANN ARBOR, Mich. — KraftMaid® Cabinetry is putting an end to slamming cabinet doors and drawers with its Whisper Touch™ system, now standard on all of its cabinetry. The soft-close feature, available on both doors and drawers, is incorporated into the actual hardware, unlike other silencing products that require the installation of an accessory device at the jobsite. By eliminating the need for the extra device, the cabinet has a cleaner overall appearance, removes the need for field installation and helps cut down on costs needed for an extra device and cabinetry repair. The Whisper Touch hinge and drawer runner are adjustable for light or heavy doors and drawers.
